I do extra hours here and there because of the mentorship that is available for me. Therefore, I do not mind doing it. However, for the other times that I do extra hours due to deliverables, no overtime pay has ever been offered. Instead, time in lieu is always the preferred option. There is no official documentation when it comes to time in lieu either. It has always been an informal approval. In my team, it has clearly been voiced that juniors are not encouraged to be doing remote work (apart from the occasional personal situations). I have been denied a dedicated working from home day for the first 3 years of my time here. It has only been approved recently for a day per fortnight.
Very flexible around university studies
Incredibly flexible, when I have uni or can't make it because of something they allow me to take time off. They also allow me to come in as much as I want so I love this!
