Good individual interview, not too intense. Group interview/assessment stage was fun.
I thought it was thorough, engaging and challenging. I particularly appreciated the clear communication from the recruitment team throughout the process. I was applying for a few different jobs at the time and Alcoa was far and away the best communicator. They kept me constantly updated throughout the entire process and were very quick with their communication also.
The two interviewers were both not my immediate boss/supervisor, so I found that unusual. The process did not take into consideration my education achievements and the job had originally been awarded to a person that had no degrees in that area before being offered to me when that person had found the job was not suited to them.
Relaxed group interview with the quick questions at each table at the end a nice way to meet other team members already employed.
