The culture is a bit dead. People have lunch together but tend to stick to themselves after hours. Allens has a bit of a nanny culture which has a direct impact on fun. The firm is strict about alcohol and that makes people divide rather than hang out after hours.
The team I am in is very nice and supportive. This varies widely from team to team.
