The process involved submitting a written application which included a cover letter, cv and written short responses to several questions. the next stage was to complete psychometric testing. the last stage was an in-person interview with two senior lawyers. i found this to be a very conversational interview in which i was made to feel comfortable. i enjoyed that there were no technical questions and it felt as if the aim of the interviewers was to get to know me as a person, as opposed to answering pre-set behavioural questions.
Very casual and conversational. very supportive
The recruitment process for big law firms is very tiring. you have to do a written application and psychometric testing before being offered an interview. i had to complete two interviews at allens before being offered a clerkship and that doesn't even guarantee you a job!
