In this team, I will work anywhere from 8- to 15-hour days. I don't mind long days when I know they're coming (ie you see how much work you have to get done for the week, and you pick which day suits to get a couple more hours in), but I strongly dislike when the late night work comes in with no notice, including where you have been quiet through the day. We are allowed to work from home 2 days a week, but there's a culture of only WFH 1 day a week if that. Allens is good about letting you take a couple hours off in the middle of the day or starting late if you have a commitment. Less so about leaving early. Its stressful leaving before 6pm. It is hard to tell what comes from the Partners and what comes from peers.
I can work remotely 2 days for week but I often can't because of in office events. Otherwise the team is relatively flexible.
