Culture is the best part about work. I don't feel any kind of competition with colleagues. Everyone is very helpful and supportive. Manager and below it is flat hierarchy. You feel more like friends than colleagues. Have not felt this at any other workplace. I have personally travelled overseas and seen colleagues outside of work. Frequent social events also help but we also eat lunch and dinner together. Since we're in the office a lot that also increases contact time. I wouldn't say there are strong cliques, everyone is friends with everyone.
Has to be the best workplace culture i've heard of to-date within high finance. Everyone is approachable, little / no office politics, large team dinners. Daily coffee stand-ups make seniors very approachable. Seniors are all super young and social. Very strong after hours socials covered by the firm. NRL games, board game + dinner nights, run club, friday drinks, puppy yoga, driving range. 3-day yearly international retreat also great for socialising.
Top tier junior team culture - very collegial, supportive without competition. Decent amount of socialising beyond typical work hours (weekend tennis, ski trips etc)
