It depends on what rotation you’re in, because you are in a variety of teams some are better than others. Some have more exciting tasks than others. From my personal experience the tasks I have been given for the most part have been interesting and fun with a few exceptions.
As a graduate there is less work assigned, instead we spend more time shadowing and sitting in on meetings. I still have a real opportunity to contribute in minor ways and do work
In rotations with different teams across the business. I am only half way through my first one so its hard to say this early on.
Had a variety of business-as-usual tasks to understand the roles basic functions/responsibilities, attended meetings and contributed, when necessary, was given responsibilities with manager guidance to execute marketing executions/initiatives, worked with various other teams like Sales, learnt more about the business and teams with frequent 101 sessions, e.g. Beer 101 - all you need to know about the basics of beer, history, current and even tastings.
