The office is quite social and has various committees and events which allow people to socialise and pursue their interests outside of the law. Whilst there is a clear structure and hierarchy, employees in all job roles work together and cooperate effectively.
The firm is known for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Within the office, there is a strong emphasis on collaboration and open communication. Employees are encouraged to share ideas and work together across different teams, which helps to break down silos and promote a sense of unity. The environment is supportive, with colleagues willing to help each other and share knowledge, making it easier for new team members to integrate and feel welcome.
Frequent Thursday Night and Friday Night drink events, Spectrum (LGBTQI+ committee) frequently runs events for whole firm, charity fundraising events - annual Youthlaw Trivia Night event hosted by Graduates. Very cooperative team, partners typically try to involve Clerks, Graduates and Juniors in their work - making an active effort to support their development. Frequently drink trolleys are brought into 'pods' of the office for colleagues to socialise in the office after work. Teams are structured hierarchically but ranking and distinguishing the experience and responsibilities of lawyers is a necessity in a law firm practice I think.
