Good mentorship, feedback and support for career development
Managers and mentors aren't always one and the same officially (often your manager is an unofficial mentor). All of my managers and my mentor have been incredible for both my professional and personal development. Approach to communication was usually teams or coffee in person, praise was both informal and formal through company channels and feedback was provided verbally in a casual conversation style.
