On the whole, the ATO is a supportive and pleasant work environment. Colleagues are polite and friendly, and you're able to make work-friend connections. There are strong friendships and general kinship between the Grads, with occasional lunches/dinners/socialisation planned outside the office.
There are team building exercises during work hours and encouragement to switch off from work outside of work hours.
I think the workplace culture is good, there are many opportunities for networking and socialising. Team leaders are very understanding and there is no expectation or pressure to work extra hours. Work/life balance is also encouraged, including being encouraged to use leave entitlements where desired or necessary.
