BAE Systems has a number of sites across Adelaide. I am primarily based at Osborne, although I have also spent some time working in the city office. The city location is very accessible, while Osborne can be a little more challenging to reach using public transport, but it is still manageable. The facilities are generally very good. The city office has height-adjustable desks throughout, while at Osborne these are more limited and typically require approval based on medical needs. The workspaces are modern, with good natural lighting where possible, pleasant views, and a strong sense of community within teams. The kitchen facilities are well maintained and stocked with essentials such as tea, milk, and hot and cold water. Osborne also has a large canteen and a cafe, which provide convenient food options throughout the day. The dress code is generally business casual for office-based employees. However, employees working in the shipyard or other operational environments wear company uniforms and appropriate personal protective equipment. Overall, I have found the work environment comfortable, professional, and well-equipped.
Dress code is business casual, depending if there are important meetings coming up. The location is out of the way depending where you live but not close to the city. Facilities are good but the safe cafe in all buildings and due to location have to drive to get food. But buildings are super nice.
