Bain has carbon neutrality commitments, office sustainability initiatives, and a growing ESG practice, but consulting is fundamentally a high-carbon industry built on constant travel. The commitment is real but constrained by the business model - Bain does what's feasible without fundamentally restructuring how we deliver client service.
