The team I am currently in, typically work 9-5pm and it is rare that I have to stay beyond 7pm. As a junior lawyer, this makes it easier to structure my day. We are generally advised to work from the office as much as we can, as this is the best for team comradery and learning. As you get more experienced, there are more opportunities to negotiate working from home a few days per week. It largely depends on the practice group.
My employer is very flexible with my working hours and arrangements. Working remotely is common and the teams are all well adapted to that flexibility. The hours are also kind to young lawyers at the beginning of their careers.
The firm is very flexible with hours. I am able to work from if and when required due to the firms fully hybrid working model. I am also able to come into the office later and work later or come early and leave early if I have other commitments as long as I am still able to complete all my work and my hours work for the team I am in.
Very flexible - as long as the work gets done.
