My day-to-day tasks are always different. Sometimes they feel important and other times it wont really matter if I just didn't do them
Really involved with the team, as our team is small, the day to day tasks and role are more effective and goes towards final reports and engagements.
Work on different clients every week. - Check their financial documents and accounts - Work on specific financial statement areas (workpapers) - Attend meetings with clients - Attend learning workshops/events
Varies from drafting proposals for potential clients, writing up internal audit reports, attending workshops with clients, attending kick off meetings with clients we have recently commenced work with, sample testing through document overviews on current clients, meet with managers to discuss next steps, attend walkthrough meetings with clients to see how their organisation operatres in the areas that internal audits are taking place
