There is a clear path in terms of progressing as a process engineer on paper. In practice it is very dependent on what you chose to do and if you'd like to focus on a specific field. There is some lack of clarity on how the progression works in some of the intermediate levels (before Associate).
I have learnt a lot since starting this role, the people I work with and under are all very supportive. I have however heard that career progression in Beca can be slow. Promotions are only given every min. of two years which I dont fully agree with. It should be based on performance and development, not dominated time-based experience.
The career progression within the consulting industry as a whole is typically a very slow climb. Beca provides good guidelines on typical career paths focused on either technical or PM sided.
