Spending 2 hours on travel just makes me tiring and also makes the day look longer.
Site hours are 6:45am to 5:15pm. There is flexibility if there is a need to leave earlier for appointments or the like. Site hours should be adhered to so that proper experience is gained and all items can be completed before work begins the next day.
BMD is extremely considerate and flexible with everyone. For me, I am able work around my footy training and travel requirements when needed.
Industry standard is 7-5 (10 hours) but there is an expectation to work longer. There is also Saturday shifts without compensation.
