Training has been great, I've travelled outside of my place of work for various training exercise, with more to come.
I've done a couple formal training programmes since I started a year ago. 1 was on the jet I'm on, and the other was the first of the project management trainings. The training on the jet was great for context in my role and so I could connect things within the jet to my work and when I'm communicating with the engineers, I have more of an idea on what I am referring to. The project management training was the first you do and it involved all of the fundamentals. It was a good refresher from my degree with a few extra considerations, and being tailored to my jet specifically to help apply to a real world situation. It was engaging and allowed you to work in teams and go through all the stages of a project and complete it. It was great to get to do this with other people in my same position as a PM, some with more experience than others, and being able to learn from them and collaborate.
