I'm placed on a project where I support day-to-day tasks. This includes attending meetings and agile ceremonies like sprint planning and daily stand-ups to track progress. Most of my time is spent working on project deliverables, and when I have capacity, I focus on learning and development to build my skills.
I work as an Associate Consultant, with a primary focus on automation testing. My day-to-day responsibilities include designing and maintaining automated test scripts, executing test cases, analysing test results, and identifying defects to ensure meet quality standards.
I've been place in the perfect project for my skills and I love the work I do on the day-to-day as I get to work in a more technical role working on code, building projects and delivering tailored AI tools for a client (rather than traditional consulting with slides and presentations).
Being on a client project can be exciting, with lots of variety and opportunities to practice your skills. While not on project, we are expected to contribute to the business by helping with proposals and running learning/culture activations.
As of now I am a data consultant. My day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and delivering on quick win opportunities for my client, developing my own capabilities in AI and Data strategy, continuous learning, contribute to Invent Australia with knowledge management and proposals, and contributing to the Data and AI team by hosting weekly connects and social activities, and monthly all-hands.
