The partners are really love. I think I have been mentored more by the lawyers, but that makes sense given the nature of their jobs. My Coaches here have been really nice but also not a lot of feedback. From the junior lawyers I have learned a lot though and they are always willing to give advice or explain something that needs improvement. They also recognise the things I've done well which is great.
In the teams I clerked in, the coaches (usually very senior lawyers) and supervising partners were very clear in providing tasks. Depending on when you clerk and in which team, they might be particularly busy at times, so you would have to be proactive in setting up time with them to receive feedback.
