I haven't received extensive feedback, which is understandable as everyone is very busy. But on smaller tasks I have received feedback or advice on improvement, which has been super helpful. I have learned a lot relating to how to file things, a lot of litigation type processes and ways of doing thing, even how to use certain softwares. But there is a lot of information sessions which have been super helpful too.
You are given a buddy, coach and supervising partner. In my experience, they are all very willing to get you involved in work where they can, and take the time to have coffee with you. Sometimes, you will need to be proactive in seeking feedback from them as the clerkship is quite short and has two rotations. The program started with two days of orientation and they tell you mostly everything you need to know about the program and how to use the firm's resources in these sessions. There are also other sessions throughout the clerkship to take you through some of the tools in more depth.
