
In some areas the firm has a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. this is the only firm i have worked at that has a dei committee specifically dedicated to disability and neurodivergence awareness. the dei committees that do some good work, but these committees would benefit from greater participation by senior lawyers, especially male senior lawyers (who are notably underrepresented in these committees). in general, outward-facing dei initiatives are prioritised over measures to improve inclusion internally.
Very commmitted to diversity and inclusion. many events to attend and several working inclusion groups to be a part of.
I am apart of our enable affinity group, which has allowed me to really get involved with the inclusion side of the business. i have been able to organise disability awareness training for both the perth and sydney offices, sparking conversation about how we can continue to improve our inclusion initiatives.
