My work task satisfaction varies day-to-day, the work given to you is either very challenging and gets you to push yourself, or it is quite mundane (especially as the firm has almost no paralegals). the team i am in gives out quite fragmented work that can be unsatisfying as you do not see a matter once it progresses beyond the stage that you have been assigned to.
Most of the work is meaningful however there are some expected administrative graduate tasks in the corporate team.
Within my first months of the global financial market practice i have assisted on deal closings, condition precedent management and communicated directly with clients and other side representatives. i've had great exposure and still been able to push forward personal initiatives like hosting social events at the firm, allowing a diverse experience.
