
I feel very supported here to be open and honest about my personal life and diversity.
My employer places weight on diversity and inclusion. There are a number of committees within the organisation that are dedicated to improving diversity and inclusion within the legal profession. In addition, my employer has hired diversity and inclusion consultants to assist with these initiatives full-time.
My employer has several committees supporting diversity and inclusion including a Network of Women, Pride network, accessibility and disability network. The firm has generous parental leave policies and in-office parents rooms and has introduced partnership promotion targets to increase gender equality.
It is very much up to the individuals within the firm to lead the diversity and inclusion committees in the direction that they wish, which I think is fantastic. There is just about a committee for everything and everyone can get involved. I also think that everyone within the firm is very supportive of one another, attending other committees' events as an ally which is fantastic
The firm puts significant time and funding into its diversity committee which hosts events regularly throughout the year.
