Everyone was very lovely and quite genuinely interested in getting to know me.
The interview process was smooth (with only one round of interviews). There were no superfluous or unnecessary assessment (eg psychometric testing or video interviews). I felt as though my application was assessed by real human beings rather than AI or through an arbitrary system.
I found the recruitment process quite personable and supportive. Each interview candidate was assigned a recruitment buddy to discuss the interview process. The firm hosted a dinner and a cocktail evening event, each designed to give candidates greater insight into the firm's business and culture. My interview was quite conversational and comfortable.
The recruitment process is difficult, but as a requirement of the LIV Guidelines not as a result of Corrs. The Corrs process is one of the easiest interview processes in comparison to other firms as there is no cover letter required, no video interviews, to my memory no psychometric testing.
I had a very positive interview process at Corrs. I felt as though the interview process was focused on getting to know me rather than having me answer a formulaic questions / psycho-analytical questions.
