I think Corrs puts in a lot of resources into pro bono work and charity work.
My employer contributes a high number of pro bono hours, especially with pro bono legal clinics such as Justice Connect. As a junior graduate/lawyer, I have worked on several Justice Connect matters where I have represented vulnerable members of the community facing eviction and homelessness.
My firm has a strong commitment to pro bono initiatives including through a partnership with the Justice and Equity Centre's Homeless Persons' Legal Service, which gives all graduates the ability to attend clinics and / or assist with legal tasks supporting homeless persons or persons at risk of homelessness. Seasonal clerks are assigned significant pro bono projects. The firm's Community Committee hosts regular events to support non-for-profit organisations.
