My employer has engaged in sustainability efforts through providing reusable lunch boxes, cutlery, coffee cups at the office cafe. It also provides organic waste compost bin, coffee and glass recycling stations. While it is difficult to reduce paper use in the legal profession (due to court requirements at times), my employer has made efforts to reduce paper use by switching to virtual or electronic internal documents where possible.
The firm is committed to sustainable environment practices including through energy efficient offices, reusable coffee cups, recycling, requirements imposed on suppliers, and carbon neutral operations.
I appreciate the firm's view on sustainability including food wastage and a big emphasis on recycling.
The firm is environmentally conscious, however, I think there's probably room for improvement.
