The interview process was very relaxed and approachable. Everyone involved was easy to talk to and had great personalities, which made the experience comfortable and engaging. The focus was more on understanding who I was as a person, rather than purely assessing technical skills or past achievements. I appreciated the emphasis on attitude, cultural fit, and potential, with a strong belief that technical skills can be taught when someone has the right mindset and willingness to learn.
A few weeks after applying I received a screening call which lead straight into an in person interview. After the first interview, I had a coffee catch up and within the same week was offered a role
When I first applied for the role, I was called by the HR department to come in and have an interview with a couple members of the senior team. This interview felt not to strenuous, and was more a judgment of my character rather than professional ability. As I was just a university student, this was a welcome surprise as I felt they really valued the type of team members they bring into the firm and wanted to make sure I fit the 'DAA Culture'. After this initial interview, I was then invited to attend a coffee catchup with two junior members of the team. This catchup was a relaxed setting, where I got to know the team members and ask questions about why DAA would be a good fit for myself. Within 2 weeks of this catchup, I was contacted by one of the partners to let me know I was successful in gaining the role.
