You have to apply (like new job application) to move up a rank. Employer and supervisors are very supportive of you in this process
Career progression is generally encouraged and to an extent built into every employees role. Each year employees are expected to be furthering their skills and abilities across the year through training and other opportunities. It is also easy to find job opportunities within the organisation.
Requires an increase in responsibility/team management rather than acknowledging pure experience and expertise. Happy with this though
