This varies between rotations. Generally I have had interesting work.
Right now, RF project. Usually there's a lot of technical document reviews & work with standards
Changes every 6 months for me. Very document heavy reading and reviewing pages, learning new information. Gets exciting at the start and at times but then boring after a while to keep reading pages upon pages. Earlier on in my current job used to do some technical work with limited interactions with some equipment as I trained to do so during professional engineering work before this job and studying at University.
Very meaningful and interesting work
It depends on what is going on in your team at the time of your rotation. Some tasks are long-term and the others are short-term. In general, it is unlikely you will be assigned with tasks of high priority, as you need to learn while you are working, and this takes some time
