Plenty of options to go on training courses. Feedback from supervisors is transparent. Lack of readily available mentoring programs.
Lots of funding to do short courses, professional development, masters
Limited mentoring spaces, feedback only from direct supervisors but not much for making resolving steps or having enough time to think about issues. No formal training programs, more individual streams of what projects are at. On the job experience developed specific to the 1 job being done in the 1 small team. If not in the specific or right team, then Not much freedom to opportunities for the attained core university degree's field interesting to the individual and related to their engineering or studied field.
Probably one of the best graduate programs in the country!
Good range of training programs available to the graduates, helpful supervisors who provide constructive feedback
