I am part of the department's Pride Network and have participated in a few of the other networks including the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Network, the Neurodiversity Network, and the Ability & Carers Network. These networks are a fantastic way for the department to showcase their commitment to diversity and inclusion. IN terms of recruitment, retention, promotion, etc - each of the networks have an SES champion which helps having high profile leaders. Further, there are many people in leadership positions from diverse backgrounds which helps with the culture.
