Good training and mentoring opportunities and they train on the job
I have received little to no formal training relevant to my role. Most things I have picked up by myself, been shown by other teammates or learnt at uni. There are some great people at the department who have helped me get a lot better at my role, but that is very dependant on your team.
The grad role is pretty good for l&d - lot of training options online and offline. we have a kind of uni course throughout the year which gives us the basics of what to expect throughout our public servant career
I'm not really mentally engaged during training sessions in general so I'm pretty neutral on this one.
