The Ethos training delivery method, where there are frequent small breakout rooms and discussions between staff, leaves me feeling dissatisfied with the content in terms of learning achieved. At times it feels that the content between courses overlaps. The graduate program lacked the whole of APS training provided by other agencies. One day of policy was inadequate.
Primarily on-the-job training delivered by supervisors and other team members. It is of a high standard. Minimal formal training is required for my job, but I have been sent to some external courses to increase my skills.
I was provided with a lot of info in my first day/week. one of the issues being new to the workforce was the "why" I was being told this. As each task could be explained of why and how it is important I learn it.
