We support Australian communities and regions with policy, programs and services across infrastructure, transport, communications, sport and arts.
Dependent on team. Grads do 3 rotations, and some rotations have really meaningful and high-impact work for you, but others have more administrative supportive tasks. Nothing at the level of 'typical intern tasks', but generally you get a good feel for what type of work you'd be doing after exiting the graduate program.
I have a range of roles that vary day to day but also rotation to rotation. I have written briefs for ministers, responded to public enquiries, approved international arts grant applications, liaised with states, territories, other departments, and private stakeholders, and supported infrastructure investment reform.
Could range from analysing financial data in excel, helping draft a ministerial submission, doing research on existing policy, stakeholder engagement with different departments or gbes.
The tasks i have right now are manageable. I believe it also depends on my time management. I would like to take more roles in program management soon.
