No unusual perks
Best perk is flex-time. Overall, the pay and benefits are poor but understandable for an entry level position
We have access to very fair but standard pay and benefits. 4 weeks annual leave, 18 days personal/carer's leave, we can accrue flex hours for working more than 37.5 hours a week and take them as leave without formal approval, we have blood donation leave, cultural, ceremonial and NAIDOC leave. We can take annual leave and personal/carer's leave at half pay. We get 3 extra days of leave for Christmas/New Year shutdown. We can purchase leave. There are no perks.
Very happy with the benefits in this position. The pay and leave entitlements are very generous, particularly for a graduate program, and even included an additional relocation bonus.
Flex - being able to start late/finish early etc and not have to take leave is a bonus.
