TMR has a friendly, professional, and supportive workplace culture. The organisation has a clear structure and hierarchy, but managers and senior staff are generally approachable and willing to help. As a graduate, I have found people generous with their time and knowledge, which creates a positive learning environment. Teamwork and collaboration are strongly encouraged, with employees regularly working across different teams and disciplines to deliver projects. There is a strong focus on mentoring, knowledge sharing, and supporting professional development. Socially, there are opportunities to connect with colleagues through team lunches, networking events, graduate activities, and social functions. While participation varies between teams and individuals, the overall culture is welcoming and inclusive, making it easy to build professional relationships and feel part of the organisation.
There is a good and friendly culture. There is a Social Club that anyone can join, and events are arranged for outside of work hours to socialise. There are sometimes social events in the office during work time as well, such as to celebrate significant dates or charity events.
The workplace culture (in my experience) has been very supportive. In the office, there is a clear structure and hierarchy, but it doesn’t feel overly rigid - people (including those in management roles) are very approachable and open to questions, which is helpful as a graduate. There is a strong focus on teamwork, with regular collaboration across teams and a willingness to help each other out. Cooperation is a big part of the day‑to‑day work, and there’s a good balance between working independently and contributing to shared projects. In terms of socialising, it’s fairly relaxed. There are often team catch-ups, lunches, or group activities, but nothing too over the top. Overall, it’s a friendly environment where people get along well, both professionally and socially.
Everyone seems relaxed and self-motivated. But again, because I am new, I don't have a good knowledge of what standard is good or not, in terms of specific regional working cultures and team common sense.
