Managers are generally approachable and accessible, and I have found them supportive of both learning and professional development. As a graduate, I have benefited from regular mentoring, guidance, and opportunities to ask questions and learn from experienced engineers. Communication is open and professional, with regular team meetings and one on one check ins. Performance feedback is provided throughout the year, and achievements and contributions are recognised by managers and colleagues. The supportive environment has helped me build confidence and develop new skills early in my career.

My direct supervisor has taken extended leave and is not available to me for a large portion of my graduate program, however my manager and district director are very supportive and always willing to help when I ask. Other people from my team across the state are also always willing to lend a hand and support me when I need it.

Overall, satisfaction with management is high. Managers are approachable and accessible, and there is a supportive environment where questions are encouraged. They provide regular feedback and are willing to guide development, particularly for graduates. Communication is clear, and there is a good balance of informal support and structured feedback, which has helped build my confidence early on.

I really enjoy to work with my managers. But due to the regional shortages of staff, I have been assigned to him and he is also the leader of the team which is 3 levels higher than me. It is sometimes really hard to reach out him coz he is very busy. And I hope I can get more approvals from learning development courses in Brisbane at my graduate program levels. But overalls, I really like him.
