Just one online interview. Got 15 mins to answer questions individually, then 30 mins to present/discuss.
The process was structured and competitive, with several stages to assess candidates, but it was generally straightforward and well organised. It required preparation and effort, but it was not excessively difficult compared to other graduate recruitment programs.
I think it's usually standard in government (or at least at TMR) to receive the interview questions 5-10 mins before the interview begins so you can consider and prepare some responses, however I did not get the questions ahead of time. The interview itself was straightforward and organised.
The recruitment process was fairly straightforward for me. I applied, was offered an interview, and found the experience really positive - the interviewers were friendly and made me feel comfortable, it felt more like a conversation than a formal interview. The only downside was the wait time after the interview, which was a couple of months, so that part felt quite long before finding out the outcome.
It was very formal interview. I really like the interview process as it has involved with HR, Panels chair and Panels member.
