There is an extremely friendly and cooperative culture at Dolby
There is a strong emphasis of maintaining a good culture at Dolby. Well-being sessions are run frequently, for example yoga classes and mental health webinars.
Extremely flexible work schedule - many people work 9/80 (Work 80 hours over 9 days and get every other Friday off) schedules. Occasionally there is a team day to do activities together, sometimes there are whole-company events to socialise
The office is empty at times, however, during events one can definitely feel a positive change in atmosphere. Co-operation and teamwork can vary across teams. Within my team I have mixed feelings, and it is definitely dependant on the individuals within a team that impact the amount of collaboration happening.
