As a graduate, you will undergo a rigorous training process before being able to trade on desk, following this, you will progress in responsibility with the products you trade and risk you manage. It is a very collaborative environment with the trading floor having various levels of experience, with trainees and juniors like myself as well as team leads with many years of experience.
There are good opportunities for career progression which are largely driven by individual performance as opposed to a prescribed timeline which needs to be adhered to.
