Eclipse Trading

There were quite a few formal training and development opportunities presented when I was a graduate for different concepts and a good experience to meet other office in the rotational program overseas but after initial training, there weren't as many opportunities made easily available although I didn't actively seek anything out either. There were a few learning or knowledge sharing sessions once every few months.

Rigorous training program for grads, learn about option theory, practice with trading sims

You will undergo training in theory to ensure you understand the fundamentals of trading and how markets function. You will also complete project work that tests your ability to analyse data and produce tools that improve the trading process. You will also complete practical training through trading games and simulated trading environments that tests your ability to think quickly under pressure. Training is done with various traders across a variety of products and experience levels.

The training program was well structured and done at a good pace, it fully prepared me with the knowledge i needed to start trading. Once I started trading the on going feedback and guidance which is provided has been extremely valuable. It feels like there is a real desire for the senior traders to see you do well and help you improve.
