Elders provide plenty of opportunities to get away to training days and further accelerate my development.
I am in an area that is currently in good growth in the career path I have chosen. I know that there is a spot for me here after I finish the grad program and that is so comforting. I have not thought beyond the next step, but I also know that I will stay here if I am happy here. I also feel comfort in knowing that if I do change my mind about this career path, that there are other options within this company that I could try.
After the initial 2 year program we will be offered a permanent position, most likely in the branch we are spending our second year in if there is a fit for us there. Building a relationship with clients and colleagues in the branch is what it takes to move up the ranks and im sure Elders will support us being able to do this to the best of our ability. Elders provides plenty of opportunity for learning and spending time to research different areas of agronomy that we are interested in
Haven't really been told
As an Elders Graduate you are guaranteed a full-time position, working your way through the program knowing there is a position at the end if comforting. Throughout the program it is demonstrated the range of roles available outside of the direct agronomy line, if other interests pop up over the time the opportunities to venture into other roles is available after the program.
