Elders supports the needs and businesses of primary producers, from finance, banking, and real estate services, to wool, grain and livestock trading.
At a branch level everyone is nice and can have a joke in the office. A lot of the staff are involved in local sporting clubs outside of hours.
The greater community within this company is great. I love that I can walk up to anyone wearing the same uniform as me and say hello, regardless of whether we have met before or not. Within my branch, there are some discrepancies, which is expected when so many people work in such close proximity. I feel like the managers are great. Generally, they are warm and easy to talk to and I don't feel like a burden. They have the desire to resolve issues without causing conflict. My team is great too. We are having growing pains as one can expect when an area develops quickly, but overall, it is a great team.
Everyone is treated as equal, we all report to our branch manager who encourages great culture and I know that in my branch and the wider elders network, you won't get hired if you have poor interpersonal skills. Everyone gets along well and many of us socialise outside of work.
Pretty good culture, good crew
