I can only speak for the managers who are above me. I have no opinion on managers that do not manage me. My managers are great. They're so friendly and makes it feel like I am in no way wasting their time when I ask a question. I like their desire to resolve issues without conflict. Just overall great people and good at what they do.
They are very easy to get hold of and are always keeping up with what we are doing and giving us feedback. My mentor isn't my manager but is also very easy to communicate with and gain feedback from. I have fortnightly check ins online with our state tech services manager (direct line manager) and then see our branch manager every day who is always communicating with me about problems, recognition and general communication

My current branch manager is awesome, very easy to approach, happy to help with any issues and genuinely cares how you are going in and outside of work.
