Cannot work from home as an agronomist.
Work hours are quite flexible. During the busy period, we definitely do more hours and often skip lunch. But when it is quiet and the work really slows down, there is less pressure to do full days every day. I also like that if something personal were to come up, that I can duck down the street or go home early so that I can see my family, and it wouldn't be a problem.
Very flexible - as long as managers are aware of our whereabouts we generally have free reign to plan our days/weeks to suit us best as long as all clients are being seen and we are attending everything that we need to.
Not much flexibility, often work extra hours due to late to getting home etc.
Pretty flexible. Seasonally the hours vary, busy times call for longer days to get through all the jobs. Weather dependent also, some days will be shorter/longer. I would say be expectant to work longer days sometimes but depending on your manager flexibility is available.
