Founded in 2016, Escient is a business and digital consultancy firm with a purpose to help shape the future for organisations, people and planet.
It was a human process. We were contacted by a person and got to speak to people rather than respond to answers via a BOT. This really brought a sense of the culture that Escient has. It was difficult in the sense that it was competitive. The case study was open to interpretation but I guess that is what you want to test in a candidate.
This was the only interview that I had where I was not evaluated by a video or a bot in the first instances, and what a difference that makes! Recruitment was amazing, from the initial contacts to calls right after our case study.... to emailing us that the results will come through in X day. It was really good and supportive, but also took a lot of preparation for the case study.
I went through three interviews for the graduate program: (1) getting to know you / culture fit, (2) presentation of a case study that I had 48hrs to prepare to a panel of 4 consultants, and (3) final interview with the Managing Director of the Brisbane office. All of these interviews were conducted approx. 1 week apart and I felt that Escient communicated very well throughout the process.
