Escient

A lot of it depends on which client you are working on and their ways of working. However, Escient is pretty flexible and provides opportunity to work as suitable (including work from home or flexible work arrangements)

A lot depends on the engagement you are on. Some clients require more attention than others but in general it is pretty good. You can aways accommodate internally as well, and decide if working from home or in the office. It's always nice to come into the office and meet with other escienters, but it is understood when you need to WFH due to different requirements (whether that is parenting, needing your special desk, or if you're going to be in meetings all day and want to avoid distractions). I've been able to accommodate urgent personal matters within official work hours and then make up for them at another time.

Escient is very flexible when it comes to work hours. There's an understanding that people have families and commitments outside of work, so there's no pressure to stick to the standard 9-5 unless you have meetings booked. Working with clients though often means you have to adapt to their work hours and flexibility though, which is where some of the pressure and inflexibility can come into play.
