At Flow Traders, we value quick-witted, creative minds and challenge them to make full use of their capacities. If you aim high, the sky is the limit!
The company culture is probably the best you can ever find. There is not much hierarchy in the office, being a small company it works very much like a startup where you work in the same office as your CEO and other heads and permissions for new initiatives are not a lengthy process like in other big companies. The company relies massively on team work as various desks have 3-4 traders who compliment each other all the time. We have very frequent get-togethers organized by the company itself.
Great work-life balance, flat hierarchy, with huge focus on teamwork and collaboration.
The corporate structure is completely flat and the culture is incredibly casual and teamwork driven; there are absolutely no office politics nor micromanagement. Traders have a great deal of autonomy, but that implies a great deal of responsibility and the focus is entirely results-driven. The industry is fairly cutthroat and this means the workday is fast-paced and often stressful. It is really only a job for people who thrive under pressure and can take a hit from time to time. Outside office hours, on the other hand, you could not find a more laidback and fun group of people. The office is still buzzing for quite a while most days after hours as people play poker, pool, fifa, and videogames in the lounge. Employees are extremely welcoming of new hires and we often go out together at nights. There are also a long list of company events on weekends including waterskiing and ATVing, football matches, outings on the company sailboat, and annual company trips (last year was to Iceland). Though the job can definitely be stressful, for the right person it is incredibly rewarding and I don't know any employees that enjoy a better life than with Flow.
