My employer provided the opportunity to share interest for a graduate position following the completion of my internship.
FTI reviews employees for promotion each year. The amount of time that employees spend in each role appear largely predictable, however I have seen examples of employees who excel in their roles being promoted at a faster rate. The criteria for promotion decisions is made available to all staff, and I find this useful for comparing my current skills to the standards which I will be evaluated upon. Another comparatively unique aspect of FTI is that the firm operates as a publicly traded company rather than a partnership. Coupled with the firm having offices worldwide, this makes secondment opportunities much more available at FTI than at other firms whose offices run largely independently.
