The Future Leaders Graduate Program is Queensland Government’s flagship graduate initiative, designed to develop the next generation of leaders.
The recruitment process was particularly demanding and time-intensive, requiring significant personal leave to attend multiple interviews, complete preparation activities and assessments, and obtain, verify and submit the required documentation, certifications and clearances. The process involved a substantial commitment over an extended period to meet all recruitment requirements.
The recruitment process was time intensive and can be overwhelming. I was required to go through 3 assessments, cognitive & aptitude assessment and the personality test, writing test, and interview. The cognitive & aptitude assessment and the personality test can be challenging and time consuming. However, I find it manageable by completing cognitive & aptitude practice tests prior to complete the official assessment. I found the writing assessment straightforward and easy to complete. The interview comprised of 2 components - group assessment and individual interview. In really enjoyed completing the group assessment as I got to meet other candidates and socialised with current graduates. The individual interview was a little tricky but manageable.
The assessment centre was good however as there are so many positions you are interviewed by lots of different people so it is hard to know if the assessment of candidates changes between assessors.
Easy to understand what was asked of you, appropriate preparation is required
